APEER COME ON BOARD FOR FIT SHOW MASTER FITTER CHALLENGE
The countdown to the 2017 Master Fitter Challenge in association with FENSA has begun. Once again the window, door and conservatory industry’s best of the best installers will come together at next year’s FIT Show to compete for the top prize of £5,000, as well as of course many times that value in terms of bragging rights.
Stepping in to provide its popular, top selling composite residential door for the 2017 Master Fitter Challenge – upon which the finalists will be called to show their skills in the Residential Door Competition – Apeer’s GRP faced doors have an excellent reputation for manufactured integrity and durability over many thousands of installations throughout the UK and Ireland.
“Our composite doors have been leading the way since 2003,” said Asa McGillian, Apeer’s Managing Director. “ When combined with any of the popular door systems in the market, the impact they have on a home is very impressive and with a long history for reliability. So with that said we thought it a no brainer to provide the doors for next year’s Master Fitter Challenge. We’re excited that visitors will see the finalists get to grips with our products.”
Next year’s Master Fitter Challenge will take place for the first time at the world–class National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, and is expected to attract thousands more visitors from all over the UK with many more travelling from overseas. Thus The FIT Show and the Master Fitter Challenge will greet a huge audience with a brand new competition Pavilion and six finalists undertaking new challenges.
“We’re really happy to have Apeer on board for this year’s Master Fitter Challenge,” said Paul Godwin, Managing Director of The FIT Show. “Apeer is gaining a reputation for innovation having won last year’s Best New Product category at The G Awards. But the company is also one of the UK’s biggest manufacturers of composite doors.. Now visitors and exhibitors alike will get the chance to see them installed and how they look once completed.”
Entries for the Master Fitter Challenge are being welcomed early to ensure plenty of time is allowed for the process of qualifying, which includes in depth interviews and site visits by GQA–MFC assessors, before determining the final six to compete at the NEC for the title of Master Fitter 2017.
