APEER ANSWERS DOOR DEMAND WITH DOUBLED PAINT CAPACITY
Apeer is staying ahead of demand for its acclaimed composite door ranges with the launch of a second automated paint line to increase capacity and efficiency as well as providing extra contingency cover.
“The added capacity means we can accommodate spikes in orders and be well prepared for growing demand into the future,” said Andrew Bagwell, Continuous Improvement Manager. “But it is also an added reassurance for customers that our turnaround time remains unaffected in the unlikely event of downtime on one machine.
He added that the two lines can either work separately or in sequence. This means that a two–colour door can be completed with a single pass, so needing only the same drying time as single colour, making it more cost–effective as well as keeping lead times to a minimum.
Apeer offers 12 standard colour choices and 12 premium colours and a large range of RAL and BS colours, as well as two–colour variants, across all styles of its three door ranges – Traditional, Contemporary and the ultra–contemporary Modo.
